Another drive day what should’ve only been 9 hours Took 12 due to some expected and some unforeseen circumstances.
1. Morning allergic reaction. From below my jaw line down to the top of my clavicle, was itchy burning and covered in hives. Thankfully a few allergy pills I decreased it to just a little bit of itching after a few hours.
2. Stomach problems. All of them. Which makes it hard to drive and makes me very thankful for clean rest stops along the way. This added several hours to my travel
3. Continued refusal to pay tolls. Today this added no time according to my GPS but did add about 30 miles. At the end of the day I’m just happy that I made it through Chicago without any epic traffic.
4. I am completely exhausted. I had an 11 hour travel day yesterday I woke up in eastern time zone this morning and I’m falling asleep in Central. I spent 12 hours on the road today, just driving, no fun stops no attractions just highway.
So that’s it for today another boring day and my world.
I am now in Minnesota and will be here for about a week, as a result I will be breaking this trip into two blogs one at the end of this week and one next week, but I won’t disclose anything about my exact location other than to say that I’m in Minnesota.
