Day 46- HOME

After 46 days on the road, 30 different beds, over 10,000 miles driven and over 100 miles walked I've made it home.

Thank you to everyone who made this adventure possible.

To my husband for knowing I was probably crazy to and supporting me anyway.

To friends I saw along the way, you made the adventure better.

To my family for opening your homes to me, for providing meals, drinks, a bed, laundry and great conversations.

To the people following along with me on this blog, many of you have reached out and continued to provide words of encouragement, they helped, thank you.

To all the strangers, park rangers, visitors center staff, hotel clerks, bar tenders, and more who may never read this blog, thank you for the conversations, recommendations, help carrying bags, interesting facts, help taking photos, and so much more, you made thousands of miles not feel lonely.

To my mom who I talked to almost every day on the road, you were my cheerleader, the person I could vent to, and someone who was always interested in hearing the story of the day.  Thank you for keeping my spirits up always.

To my dad who did the last 2,000 miles with me.  I know it wasn't the adventure you'd planned on, but it was so much fun. Thank you for driving when you could, for conversations, for Wilco, for trying new things and going outside of your comfort-zone, for splitting the cost and for supporting me the best you could when I was having a hard time at the end.

Thank you to all of you, now I need to do laundry, eat a good meal, pop my celebration bubbly and enjoy the last few weeks of summer before we start school in person again.

Signing off for now
