Was it worth it- March and April

Taking a look at the purchases I made in March/April 2022 in the beauty sphere. 

MARCH

FabFitFun Box: 

Grown Alchemist 3 body creams for $26- Not worth it. It's a great moisturizer, but the smell is overwhelming. I have used up one and given 1 away I will use the 3rd, but I absolutely would not buy it again. 

Living Proof Dry Shampoo- I have repurchased this and will again. It's expensive so I try to get it through FabFitFun boxes as a way to save a little bit of money. I don't use dry shampoo as often as I use to, but this is my favorite when I do. 

Bliss Block star sunscreen- The tint is a little dark for me in winter, but I like it in summer though the smell is a bit overwhelming.  I have repurchased this product twice. 

APRIL

Sephora Favorites- Foundation Sampler packs in Light and Fair. $10 each

The idea of these was fine, trying foundations to try to find a good fit. But most were matte and not a match for me, but they were easy to travel with when I went overseas. 

Inkey List Vit. C I was looking for a cheaper option for a vitamin C. This was not it- it was sticky and not enjoyable to wear. I would not buy again and have in fact decluttered it. 

Sephora Brow Pencil If you like benefit eye pencils as I do, this is a great alternative for half the price. I found medium brown a bit too light, but it was only me that noticed. I currently use a drug store pencil that's half the price of this and just as good. 

Hourglass Opaque Rogue- This is thicker than I thought it would be, the color a bit more pink than I typically wear, but it's comfortable and I still have it. I wouldn't purchase it again. 

Avene Mineral Sunscreen- It's sun screen it works, but it has a strong whitecast, and I wouldn't use it for my face or buy again. 

Spongelle Mystic Ginger- Smell is nice, I normally like Spongelle products, but I had a really bad skin reaction to this product so for me it's a no. 

Isola Hand Cream- Vanilla and Anise. It was lovely and a nice hand cream for my purse. I would buy again.
