Traveling with chronic health issues

Traveling is hard enough, before you think about having a chronic health concern. Add that into the mix, and you’ve made for quite the adventure. I suffer from chronic migraines with and without auras as well as a physical tic on my right side that occurs between 25 and 400 Times a day but is still without diagnosis.  These things add a layer of difficulty to my travel that most people don’t have to consider.  Airline travel is a migraine trigger for me. 3 flights over a 24 hour Period is a recipe for a serious migraine.  I went into this trip with a headache and am now over 40 hours into one of my worst migraines this year.  My migraines make the ticking subtainially worse, to the point, I am unable to lift a glass with my right hand as there is a very high likelihood I will drop it. But I don’t get to sto living. I could do easily curl up in a ball and sleep for another day it two, but I am in Brussels and I want to see it.  So I take my meds daily and I do the best I can.  But I know that the first whole day I go anywhere is a wash because I will be drained with a migraine. It makes traveling hard, but it’s still so worth it.

TTFN tats for now
