Covid fatigue as an educator

 I am EXHAUSTED every day.

Okay...so I've been trying to write this for a few weeks now. And I fall asleep half way through a sentence every single time.  So I guess that's enough said.

I am officially old

This weekend I threw my back out.  I was packing boxes in my bathroom and doing a lot of bending over and there it was, the shooting pain. It's only gotten worse over the last 36 hours.  I can be nearly flat, or I can be standing, anything in between causes unbearable pain.

Even fully medicated on anti-spasmatics and pain meds I'm still at an 8- Unable to do nearly all activities.  Even laying down in the most comfortable position I can find- head slight raised and knees bent I'm at at least a 6 - but the nature of the position itself means I really cannot do much of anything.

The pain includes shooting pains up the left side of my back and down both of my legs.  I'm just a few weeks shy of 33 and feeling every single year of it. UGH.

that's it for now

#TeamProjectPan 2022

I should start off by saying I own A LOT of make up.  And that's post a holiday declutter (when I discovered nearly ever red lip I own had gone off). But here's the deal, I only use the same dozen or so products every day.  So I going to focus on panning (using up) the things I don't totally adore over the next year.  I've tried project pans before to varying degrees of success, but with my minimal makeup wearing in the last 2 years- Thanks a lot Covid- I want to use some of my make up before it goes off like the lipsticks.  Especially some of the fancier stuff.

In the past I've moved away from panning because I got bored. So I'm focusing on completing base products, skin care and lotions and allowing myself more fun with my eye and lip choices. I think this will help me stay the course.

At the end of each month I'll blog how the process is going products will be divided into 4 categories: Empties-Products I finished; Progress-Items I'm still working on; Declutter-things I didn't finish but am getting rid of; and Disappointments-items I didn't make any progress on, but will keep.

My focus for January specifically is completing opened skin care so I don't have to pack it up and move it.  If I happen to complete stuff early I have plenty of sample packets of products to get me into the new home.

Signing off for now
